Savsat SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Haşmet Adalı scored to the left of an out of position Affan Kırca, making the score, 1-0. Baturalp Balıkçı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zikri Devan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Zikri Devan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Baturalp Balıkçı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Temel Tolga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baturalp Balıkçı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Temel Tolga in the 19th minute of the match. Temel Tolga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturalp Balıkçı having to interfere. The supporters of Savsat SK booed when Balat FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Fikret Bozkaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ufuk İribaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savsat SK's Affan Kırca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Adalı in the 31st minute of play. If Temel Tolga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Temel Tolga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haşmet Adalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Affan Kırca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ufuk İribaş got free with Affan Kırca in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Savsat SK's Ahmet Ali Türkdoğan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Haşmet Adalı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Ahmet Yahya Arabacı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ufuk İribaş struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Affan Kırca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balat FK. In the 80th minute Haşmet Adalı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Affan Kırca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haşmet Adalı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Temel Tolga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zikri Devan came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Savsat SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zikri Devan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Temel Tolga got free with Baturalp Balıkçı in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Ufuk İribaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Affan Kırca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Balat FK had won after a very even match.
