Akay Hacıoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serter Hüryaşar's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Sufi Safvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işık Sidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Işık Sidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Hakkı Akıncı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayyip Erdemir struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sufi Safvet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandikli JK. If Işık Sidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sandikli JK's Hakkı Akıncı got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Işık Sidal charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Işık Sidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sandikli JK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Işık Sidal hit a great ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sürmene FK's goalkeeper Sufi Safvet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Metehan Tümkan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sufi Safvet. Sürmene FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Işık Sidal to make the kick off. Işık Sidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serter Hüryaşar might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akay Hacıoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serter Hüryaşar ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sandikli JK booed when Sürmene FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ömür Cihanser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tayyip Erdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sufi Safvet made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sandikli JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
