Kunter Umay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muzaffer Tüzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute Muzaffer Tüzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kunter Umay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muzaffer Tüzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Yomra FK booed when Ünye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serbülent Oksar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yomra FK were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ünye's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tibet Yaver took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Seyhun Memduh to score against Kunter Umay in Ünye's goal. 0-1 after 18 minutes. Mustafa Enfal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özbek Atabek having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Ünye's goal looked a bit too open when Özgün Ufuk came free, but Kunter Umay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şahap Süngü made a kick off. If Şahap Süngü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Ünye's goal looked a bit too open when Özgün Ufuk came free, but Kunter Umay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ünye's Mustafa Enfal got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Ünye's goalkeeper Kunter Umay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muzaffer Tüzer. Özgün Ufuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muzaffer Tüzer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Kunter Umay when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
