A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nafiz Özerhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ahmet Sedat Gök tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Egemen Subutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Berkant Sayıl having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Gediz JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reşat Işıklı to maneuver through the defense. Alkın Şen might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Sedat Gök. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alkın Şen ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Gediz JK's Nafiz Özerhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Sedat Gök narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Egemen Subutay to make the kick off. Arif Egemen Subutay struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ali Berkant Sayıl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yüksekova JK. Alkın Şen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Gediz JK's goalkeeper Ali Berkant Sayıl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cem Semi. 59 minutes into the game, Alkın Şen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gediz JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yüksekova JK the free kick. Alkın Şen hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Egemen Subutay in the 62nd minute of play forced Gediz JK's goalkeeper Ali Berkant Sayıl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes, Arif Tugay Tuğyan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gediz JK and the Yüksekova JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Nafiz Özerhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Sedat Gök was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Nafiz Özerhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Gök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Berkant Sayıl had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Arif Egemen Subutay from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ahmet Sedat Gök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nafiz Özerhan in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to Yüksekova JK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mustafa Emre Kurban hit a great ball. The Yüksekova JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yüksekova JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
