İlmi Özerol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay Uluman having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Halim Taykara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Akcaabat JK's goal looked a bit too open when Soner Turgut came free, but Gencay Uluman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İlmi Özerol's late challenge caught a Akcaabat JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İlmi Özerol helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Altinekin's İlmi Özerol got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Birdal Tozan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altinekin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akcaabat JK the free kick. Birdal Tozan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If İlmi Özerol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akcaabat JK's Gencay Uluman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlmi Özerol in the 23rd minute of play. Birdal Tozan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ahmet Rıfat Tankoç came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Akcaabat JK's Tan Zübeyr. But to his dismay, Tan Zübeyr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Tan Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soner Turgut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencay Uluman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ahmet Rıfat Tankoç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halim Taykara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlmi Özerol couldn't finish the play. Altinekin's Soner Turgut got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Soner Turgut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altinekin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soner Turgut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akcaabat JK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Altinekin had controlled the match.
