Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökberk Ongun in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volkan Bulut saved Beysehir SK from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Sorgun's Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volkan Bulut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Volkan Bulut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Ongun in the 14th minute of play. Mehmet Ferit Eroğuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karahan Tümkurt's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Sorgun's Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beysehir SK's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Bulut was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Beysehir SK's Volkan Bulut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökberk Ongun in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Beysehir SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsamettin Yörük to maneuver through the defense. Gökberk Ongun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Beysehir SK's Baycan Geylanoğullarından got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute of the match, Gökberk Ongun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Volkan Bulut was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Bulut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volkan Bulut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th match minute, Beysehir SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timur Garipbaş to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Bulut was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Beysehir SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gökberk Ongun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ekrem Sağlamtürk in the 94th minute of play forced Beysehir SK's goalkeeper Volkan Bulut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Beysehir SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sorgun were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
