The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Necdet Kargin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Behzat Akata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cengizhan Sezen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adakli JK's Ali Behzat Akata pulled a muscle in his leg after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 12 minutes, Sait Ünlüol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mus and the Adakli JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Adakli JK's Atacan Resai got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cengizhan Sezen. 18 minutes into the match, Adakli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Necdet Kargin came free, but Güntekin Gökekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Mus's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hakkı Devrim Aysan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hakkı Devrim Aysan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adakli JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakkı Devrim Aysan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cengizhan Sezen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Çelik Sarif, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Güntekin Gökekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Davut Uzel's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 40th minute, Necdet Kargin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hakkı Devrim Aysan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Cengizhan Sezen made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hakkı Devrim Aysan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Mus's Necdet Kargin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güntekin Gökekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Süreyya İcmal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Necdet Kargin struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Güntekin Gökekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mus. Mus's Ahmet Davut Uzel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Necdet Kargin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mus's Ahmet Davut Uzel got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Hakkı Devrim Aysan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cengizhan Sezen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Devrim Aysan in the 82nd minute of the match. Hamza Vargın kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mus's zone, Hakkı Devrim Aysan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cengizhan Sezen came out of the goal and Hakkı Devrim Aysan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Güntekin Gökekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necdet Kargin in the 90th minute. When Necdet Kargin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necdet Kargin couldn't finish the play. Güntekin Gökekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Uzel in the 95th minute of play. Ahmet Davut Uzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güntekin Gökekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Davut Uzel ran back to his position shaking his head. Mus's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
