Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cevdet Yaslı made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Gayrettepe's goal looked a bit too open when Cevdet Yaslı came free, but Cevahir Tunak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eralp Ceceli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Işık Tuğsavan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Selamicesme's Özmen Esendağ got a free kick in the 13th minute. Eralp Ceceli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Cevdet Yaslı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevahir Tunak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Işık Tuğsavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Arif İlbey went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Ahmet Arif İlbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cevdet Yaslı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cevahir Tunak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Cevdet Yaslı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selamicesme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevdet Yaslı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Adil Ertüze kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fahri Demirkan, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Gayrettepe booed when Selamicesme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Tümel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eralp Ceceli got free with Işık Tuğsavan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gayrettepe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cevdet Yaslı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cevahir Tunak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevdet Yaslı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gayrettepe's Ali Emir Hataylı got a free kick in the 96th minute. Süruri Akdiken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevahir Tunak having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
