After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mustafa Kemal Balısoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merzifon FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Kemal Balısoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özcan Erçelik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Yalaz in the 21st minute of play forced Keles FK's goalkeeper Özcan Erçelik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kutalp Yadigar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paşa Ali Birhan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Ali Yalaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Erçelik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Yalaz in the 31st minute of the match. Ali Yalaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Özcan Erçelik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Edip Mansur in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paşa Ali Birhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mehmet Edip Mansur made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dursun Ali Mengübay in the 52nd minute of play forced Keles FK's goalkeeper Özcan Erçelik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paşa Ali Birhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Edip Mansur, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Paşa Ali Birhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kutalp Yadigar went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mustafa Kemal Balısoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute.
