If Yaman Talaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes, Giray Kainat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kocatepe FK and the Dragos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giray Kainat kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mete Yiğitoğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dündar Dönmez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Dündar Özgu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Kocatepe FK's Yaman Talaz. But to his dismay, Yaman Talaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kocatepe FK's zone, Dündar Dönmez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mete Yiğitoğlu came out of the goal and Dündar Dönmez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yakup Hür could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Mete Yiğitoğlu made a huge save. Atıf Cantürk took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dündar Özgu. Dündar Özgu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Atıf Cantürk fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocatepe FK's protests and gave Atıf Cantürk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Atıf Cantürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakup Hür sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dündar Dönmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kocatepe FK's Mete Yiğitoğlu got control of the ball when Yakup Hür tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dündar Dönmez made a kick off. Mete Yiğitoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dündar Dönmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Giray Kainat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dündar Dönmez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dündar Dönmez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mete Yiğitoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Dragos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yaman Talaz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 58th minute, Yaman Talaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Dragos's Yakup Hür nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mete Yiğitoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When Ercan Dündar fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragos's protests and gave Ercan Dündar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Ercan Dündar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yaman Talaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 78th minute Tayfur Kutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mete Yiğitoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaman Talaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Dündar Özgu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Kocatepe FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hidayet Oyum to maneuver through the defense. Dragos's Ali Emir Yürükoğlu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kocatepe FK. In the 84th minute Yakup Hür shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mete Yiğitoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Emir Yürükoğlu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Songurhan Ergünay hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kocatepe FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dragos.
