The audience was convinced that Erenay Okanalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mete Yiğitoğlu was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ibradi SK's Ahmet Ege Erenoz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The Kocatepe FK fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Kocatepe FK's Atıf Cantürk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erenay Okanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mete Yiğitoğlu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ibradi SK's Namık Kemal Reşan. But to his dismay, Namık Kemal Reşan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Namık Kemal Reşan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Kocatepe FK got a freekick which was hit by Giray Kainat. If Erenay Okanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Namık Kemal Reşan took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Mete Yiğitoğlu to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giray Kainat in the 93rd minute of play forced Ibradi SK's goalkeeper Hasan Ali Pekiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Namık Kemal Reşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mete Yiğitoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hasan Ali Pekiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atıf Cantürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over Ibradi SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kocatepe FK throughout the match.
