Gencalp Tarkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dursun Ali Işıklar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Okanalp Terzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali Işıklar having to interfere. Okanalp Terzi got in the 15th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dursun Ali Işıklar handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Devran Taşan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tan Girgin. Vize's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Devran Taşan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Devran Taşan struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tan Girgin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sahinbey JK. 24 minutes into the match, Sinan Onursev sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tan Girgin threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Sinan Onursev this time. Gencalp Tarkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dursun Ali Işıklar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Gencalp Tarkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dursun Ali Işıklar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 31st minute Gencalp Tarkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ali Işıklar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Sahinbey JK's Gürel Taşdan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tan Girgin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gencalp Tarkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vize's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencalp Tarkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dursun Ali Işıklar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dursun Ali Işıklar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencalp Tarkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Devran Taşan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sahinbey JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Devran Taşan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tan Girgin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gencalp Tarkan to make the kick off. Dursun Ali Işıklar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencalp Tarkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Gencalp Tarkan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dursun Ali Işıklar, passed just outside the right post. Vize's Tan Girgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devran Taşan in the 61st minute of play. Okanalp Terzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gencalp Tarkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali Işıklar having to interfere. The supporters of Vize booed when Sahinbey JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. İldeniz Güzir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gencalp Tarkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sahinbey JK's Dursun Ali Işıklar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Sahinbey JK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürel Taşdan in the 95th minute of play forced Vize's goalkeeper Tan Girgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vize supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vize would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
