Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aydin JK's Bahattin Yekta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Haluk Ergüç fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayyolu's protests and gave Haluk Ergüç a yellow card for diving instead. Haluk Ergüç hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Resulhan Ekinoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahattin Yekta, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Resulhan Ekinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahattin Yekta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet İlhan Tüzmen during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Fadıl Öztürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Sarp Suhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aydin JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayyolu the free kick. After 34 played minutes Aydin JK got a freekick which was hit by Sarp Suhan. If Fadıl Öztürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fadıl Öztürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Özden Zaim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fadıl Öztürk to make the kick off. Özden Zaim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadıl Öztürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özden Zaim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykut Akçabay in the 53rd minute of play. Ahmet Gökalp Ezgü came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Resulhan Ekinoğlu could save by the left post. When Ahmet Gökalp Ezgü came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Aydin JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Gökalp Ezgü couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Gökalp Ezgü in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Resulhan Ekinoğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cayyolu's Fadıl Öztürk got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özden Zaim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Akçabay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fadıl Öztürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özden Zaim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Bahattin Yekta kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Fadıl Öztürk took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özden Zaim. Özden Zaim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bahattin Yekta hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fadıl Öztürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özden Zaim having to interfere. Aydin JK's Özden Zaim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Akçabay in the 92nd minute of play. Cayyolu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
