The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aytek Şükrü helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aydin JK's Osman Erginer got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes, Kizilay's Zühtü Yaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Özden Zaim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kizilay reached it. In the 16th match minute, Aydin JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tümer Balkanlıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Kizilay's Zühtü Yaves got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Faruk Geylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Emir Varan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Kurtuluş Karaca made a huge save. Zühtü Yaves charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zühtü Yaves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kizilay's Zühtü Yaves got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Bahattin Yekta came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Aydin JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahattin Yekta couldn't finish the play. Kizilay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alp Yordam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özden Zaim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 minutes of play, Kizilay's Asım Arif Ushan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özden Zaim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Kizilay were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alp Yordam made a kick off. Kurtuluş Karaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahattin Yekta in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Aydin JK's Ahmet Gökalp Ezgü sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurtuluş Karaca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play, Aydin JK's Bahattin Yekta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurtuluş Karaca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Gökalp Ezgü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtuluş Karaca having to interfere. Kizilay's Aytek Şükrü got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aydin JK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kizilay had controlled the match.
