A collision led to Ayvalik getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Muzaffer Polathan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ayvalik's Sancar Türkyılmaz got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ayvalik's Cebrail Yamaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bünyamin Kornes in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Ayvalik booed when Hamamözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökmen Zahit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emir Umural kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Hızır Erozan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rahim Refettin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Behçet Başayoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Hamamözü's Emir Umural got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamamözü's Bünyamin Kornes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cebrail Yamaç. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. 31 minutes into the match, Hamamözü's goal looked a bit too open when Behçet Başayoğlu came free, but Rahim Refettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayvalik's Cebrail Yamaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ayvalik from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ayvalik booed when Hamamözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bünyamin Kornes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dursun İlksen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cebrail Yamaç having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, Hamamözü's Bünyamin Kornes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cebrail Yamaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Behçet Başayoğlu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ayvalik's Sancar Türkyılmaz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Bünyamin Kornes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hızır Erozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Müjdat Binalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Hamamözü got a freekick which was hit by Emir Umural. If Behçet Başayoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayvalik's Cebrail Yamaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun İlksen in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Ayvalik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sancar Türkyılmaz to maneuver through the defense. Ogün Toraman charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ogün Toraman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Ogün Toraman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hızır Erozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Refettin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hızır Erozan got free with Rahim Refettin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
