Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mecidiyeköy's Gökçek Durusan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Hasan Kutlug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Hasan Kutlug who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Arın Ferhat Kuman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Mecidiyeköy's Enis Dirican in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sivas SK's goalie prevented a goal. Gökçek Durusan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Behram İlksen having to make a save. Enis Dirican recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökçek Durusan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behram İlksen having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Umur Akkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivas SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mecidiyeköy the free kick. Umur Akkan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Enis Dirican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behram İlksen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Yahya Temur's late challenge caught a Sivas SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Yahya Temur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mecidiyeköy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ahmet Yahya Temur hit a great ball. The Sivas SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mecidiyeköy were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Muhsin Uluerkan to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Cihat Akgüneş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Mecidiyeköy's Namık Hükümran seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Namık Hükümran the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mecidiyeköy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Namık Hükümran had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 64 minutes into the game, one of Mecidiyeköy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Sivas SK. Umur Akkan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arın Ferhat Kuman. 1-1. Ahmet Hasan Kutlug blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arın Ferhat Kuman having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ahmet Hasan Kutlug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sivas SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Hasan Kutlug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arın Ferhat Kuman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hasan Kutlug in the 80th minute of play forced Mecidiyeköy's goalkeeper Arın Ferhat Kuman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhsin Uluerkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arın Ferhat Kuman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Mecidiyeköy's goal looked a bit too open when Umur Akkan came free, but Arın Ferhat Kuman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Sivas SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enis Dirican fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 96th minute, Muhsin Uluerkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sivas SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sivas SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mecidiyeköy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
