Ferdi Akansel came out of the goal and Dilaver Vefa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdi Akansel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dilaver Vefa in the 35th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Bahattin Tunçaslan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayvalik's Ferdi Akansel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Ulu Bozlak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayvalik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulu Bozlak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulu Bozlak in the 44th minute of play forced Idil JK's goalkeeper Akif Kürşat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulu Bozlak might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akif Kürşat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulu Bozlak ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dilaver Vefa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ayvalik's Doğan Bozbey got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Nihat Seyyid charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nihat Seyyid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Idil JK got a freekick which was hit by Nihat Seyyid. 60 minutes into the game, Idil JK's Bahattin Tunçaslan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdi Akansel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Behzat Baykır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
