Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rumelikavagi's Abuzer Nurbay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Akşemseddin Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İnanç Bekdemir in the 5th minute of the match. Aydemir Balabey, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Kücükbakkalköy FK booed when Rumelikavagi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Barış Dirsehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giray Yalap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Akşemseddin Taştan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İnanç Bekdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abuzer Nurbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Efe Kortan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kücükbakkalköy FK's Tuncay Tulun got a free kick in the 28th minute. Giray Yalap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rumelikavagi's Akşemseddin Taştan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İnanç Bekdemir in the 40th minute of play. Tuncay Tulun's late challenge caught a Rumelikavagi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuncay Tulun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kücükbakkalköy FK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tuncay Tulun hit a great ball. İnanç Bekdemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akşemseddin Taştan having to make a save. Giray Yalap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Akşemseddin Taştan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when İnanç Bekdemir made the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Efe Kortan was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ertaç Revis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ertaç Revis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 91st minute, Durmuş Yağızer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abuzer Nurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rumelikavagi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rumelikavagi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
