Arın Ferhat Ecemiş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ümit Şinas having to make a save. The supporters of Mengen booed when Adalar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saip Gümüşcü didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mengen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tahsin Ongar hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Işık Samil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mengen's Gürol Akman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdinç Şahbender in the 39th minute of play. If Erdinç Şahbender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Arın Ferhat Ecemiş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mengen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arın Ferhat Ecemiş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Asım Arif Mutlutekin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ümit Şinas. Asım Arif Mutlutekin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erdinç Şahbender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bircan Onatkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürol Akman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saip Gümüşcü, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Asım Arif Mutlutekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bircan Onatkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Akman having to interfere. Arın Ferhat Ecemiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ümit Şinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saffet Zekeriya's late challenge caught a Mengen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saffet Zekeriya helped the player get up and apologised. Arın Ferhat Ecemiş struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ümit Şinas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mengen. If Bircan Onatkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mengen's Gürol Akman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Mengen from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes, Orhan Coşan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mengen and the Adalar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mengen's Orhan Coşan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes in the game Ekber Gariboğlu after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Gürol Akman. A very good opportunity. With a little luck, Mengen's Gürol Akman got control of the ball when Bircan Onatkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Adalar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mengen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
