After having played for 7 minutes, Aysan Yalçın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patnos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aysan Yalçın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asım Arif Mutlutekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Abayhan Huzur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aysan Yalçın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abayhan Huzur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asım Arif Mutlutekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Mengen's goalkeeper Gürol Akman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aysan Yalçın. Arın Ferhat Ecemiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Abayhan Huzur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Aydın Boğataş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patnos and the Mengen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Aydın Boğataş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rüstem Bekdemir during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Mengen got a freekick which was hit by Rüstem Bekdemir. 37 minutes into the match, Asım Arif Mutlutekin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Patnos's Abayhan Huzur. Abayhan Huzur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aysan Yalçın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the Patnos defense, Asım Arif Mutlutekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abayhan Huzur. The Patnos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abayhan Huzur should have stopped the shot. The Patnos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mengen were winning 0-2.

When Bülent Şahabeddin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Patnos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bülent Şahabeddin couldn't finish the play. Patnos's Abayhan Huzur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asım Arif Mutlutekin in the 60th minute of play. Arın Ferhat Ecemiş was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Mengen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aydın Boğataş kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Aysan Yalçın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patnos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, Patnos's goalkeeper Abayhan Huzur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arın Ferhat Ecemiş. Arın Ferhat Ecemiş's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
