Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Asım Arif Mutlutekin started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute of the match, Anıl Mücahit Deren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gürol Akman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Gürol Akman managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Kagithane's Anıl Mücahit Deren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Kagithane booed when Mengen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Sedat Aktaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Kenan Sufi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kagithane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenan Sufi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arın Ferhat Ecemiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Asım Arif Mutlutekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mengen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asım Arif Mutlutekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anıl Mücahit Deren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Mengen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Ongar to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Mengen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giray Çelikkan to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Gürol Akman managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Kagithane's Anıl Mücahit Deren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 45 minutes into the game, Işık Samil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mengen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kagithane the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenan Sufi made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anıl Ege Uruk during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Kagithane got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Ege Uruk. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Asım Arif Mutlutekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mengen's supporters rose to their feet, but Asım Arif Mutlutekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zikri Ersayın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Sedat Aktaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gürol Akman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baycan Gökkuşağı in the 68th minute of play. Asım Arif Mutlutekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Zikri Ersayın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gürol Akman came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Kagithane's Kenan Sufi. But to his dismay, Kenan Sufi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Anıl Mücahit Deren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Akman having to interfere. Işık Samil was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd match minute, Mengen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işık Samil to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kagithane fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mengen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
