Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vahit Kayraalp kicked off to start the match. Andaç Vecdet charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andaç Vecdet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Merter booed when Emirgan SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andaç Vecdet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mümtaz Toydemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melih Cevdet Tanyel having to make a save. Raik Tümenbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melih Cevdet Tanyel having to interfere. Melih Cevdet Tanyel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtaz Toydemir in the 11th minute of play. Enis Satıbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Denizhan Baytugay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merter's Mümtaz Toydemir got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Raik Tümenbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melih Cevdet Tanyel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Engin Usbey hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Mümtaz Toydemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raik Tümenbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Melih Cevdet Tanyel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Raik Tümenbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raik Tümenbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denizhan Baytugay was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Vahit Kayraalp capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vahit Kayraalp really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mümtaz Toydemir was the one to do the kick off. Raik Tümenbay struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Melih Cevdet Tanyel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merter. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mümtaz Toydemir in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melih Cevdet Tanyel saved Emirgan SK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Emirgan SK's Ahmet Reha Oyal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute of the match, Mümtaz Toydemir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melih Cevdet Tanyel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute, Vahit Kayraalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahit Kayraalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denizhan Baytugay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahit Kayraalp ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Emirgan SK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Arda Ozan İçkin hit a great ball. Melih Cevdet Tanyel made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Raik Tümenbay sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Emirgan SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferid Ruzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Merter's players had a chance to rest. Merter's Ferid Ruzi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melih Cevdet Tanyel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mümtaz Toydemir in the 68th minute of play forced Emirgan SK's goalkeeper Melih Cevdet Tanyel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raik Tümenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mümtaz Toydemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merter's Mümtaz Toydemir got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vahit Kayraalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahit Kayraalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Denizhan Baytugay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denizhan Baytugay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Satıbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
