Burç Tümkurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fadıl Bilginer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Bogazliyan FK's Şenel Bekir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayhan Güzir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Burç Tümkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karahan Tahsin having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Fadıl Bilginer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bogazliyan FK's Karahan Tahsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şenel Bekir was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bogazliyan FK's goalkeeper Karahan Tahsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karahan Tahsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burç Tümkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Fadıl Bilginer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karahan Tahsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bogazliyan FK's zone, Burç Tümkurt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karahan Tahsin came out of the goal and Burç Tümkurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd match minute, Catalca FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güvenç Hürkan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Catalca FK's zone, Şenel Bekir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Güzir came out of the goal and Şenel Bekir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ayhan Güzir came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Bogazliyan FK's Ferdi Şenyurt. But to his dismay, Ferdi Şenyurt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Karahan Tahsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadıl Bilginer in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catalca FK's goalkeeper Ayhan Güzir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burç Tümkurt struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Karahan Tahsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catalca FK. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fadıl Bilginer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catalca FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fadıl Bilginer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karahan Tahsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Catalca FK's Sacit Ersoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karahan Tahsin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Catalca FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Şenel Bekir scored to the left of an out of position Ayhan Güzir, making the score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kartal Kahya during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Bogazliyan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kartal Kahya to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Catalca FK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
