But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertunç Kelim couldn't finish the play. Özbek Nurullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Pehlivan in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ertunç Kelim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Utkan Bahadıroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Sultanhisar SK's Utkan Bahadıroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağdaş Açıkalın in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Arif Pehlivan made a kick off. Ertunç Kelim's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Ertunç Kelims short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Utkan Bahadıroğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Arif Pehlivan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ertunç Kelim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Çağdaş Açıkalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utkan Bahadıroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karapürcek booed when Sultanhisar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuhan Satır didn't get a good kick on the ball.
