Özcan Danış took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgün Onurhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. kaya Zeynelabidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Özcan Danış tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling kaya Zeynelabidin in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özcan Danış prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ulvi Tecimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Can Seza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Arif Tugay İlbey made a huge save. When Kaptan Usalp came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gölcük fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaptan Usalp couldn't finish the play. When Reşit Babayiğit fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nizip's protests and gave Reşit Babayiğit a yellow card for diving instead. Reşit Babayiğit hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Hüseyin Can Seza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüseyin Can Seza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Gölcük got a freekick which was hit by kaya Zeynelabidin. In the 39th minute, Ulvi Tecimer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when kaya Zeynelabidin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hüseyin Can Seza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özmen Zülfikar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The Gölcük fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Tugay İlbey should have stopped the shot. Kaptan Usalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. kaya Zeynelabidin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 86th minute, Ahmet Nafiz Vural had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After having played for 95 minutes, Kaptan Usalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizip's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
