Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vahdet Tanberk kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Tanberk in the 17th minute of play forced Nizip's goalkeeper Özcan Danış to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Haşim Işın notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nizip's Özcan Danış. Özcan Danış was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute of the match Hazım Şaki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilgaz Günden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Özcan Danış showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahdet Tanberk in the 27th minute of the match. Özcan Danış took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahdet Tanberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Nizip's goal looked a bit too open when Haşim Işın came free, but Özcan Danış reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vahdet Tanberk got free in front of the goal in the 37th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Özcan Danış was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vahdet Tanberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özcan Danış having to interfere. In the 46th minute Vahdet Tanberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özcan Danış saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gediz FK booed when Nizip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Nafiz Vural didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes, Gediz FK's Osman Ali Ziya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Özcan Danış came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gediz FK reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulvi Tecimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Özcan Danış showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahdet Tanberk in the 56th minute of the match. Hüseyin Can Seza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulvi Tecimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilgaz Günden having to make a save. Ilgaz Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Can Seza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haşim Işın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hüseyin Can Seza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ilgaz Günden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Bülent Remiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gediz FK and the Nizip players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gediz FK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bülent Remiz hit a great ball. Nizip's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bektaş Tokyüz in the 74th minute. The corner led Nizip's Bektaş Tokyüz to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilgaz Günden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ulvi Tecimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nizip's Özcan Danış proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Nizip from getting a goal against them. Vahdet Tanberk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özcan Danış having to make a save. If Haşim Işın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gediz FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
