After a rather tough play, Güvenevler's Behlül Orgen got a free kick in the 4th minute. Berkant Kayraalp hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Seyhan Yelmen scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykutalp Erüstün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute Dündar Şenel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kürşat Çavas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüksel Evliya in the 13th minute of play forced Güvenevler's goalkeeper Aykutalp Erüstün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Davut Tamerkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Kürşat Çavas made a huge save. Karakecili SK's Kürşat Çavas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dündar Şenel in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dündar Şenel in the 33rd minute of play forced Karakecili SK's goalkeeper Kürşat Çavas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Güvenevler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Batırhan to maneuver through the defense. Güvenevler's Aykutalp Erüstün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüksel Evliya in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yüksel Evliya was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Karakecili SK's Yüksel Evliya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aykutalp Erüstün. Aykutalp Erüstün yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With his leg Aykutalp Erüstün managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Karakecili SK's Seyhan Yelmen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Yüksel Evliya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bilge Batırhan fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güvenevler's protests and gave Bilge Batırhan a yellow card for diving instead. Seyhan Yelmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aykutalp Erüstün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykutalp Erüstün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüksel Evliya in the 73rd minute of play. Kürşat Çavas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Davut Tamerkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Karakecili SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Davut Tamerkin came free, but Kürşat Çavas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kürşat Çavas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Davut Tamerkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Berkant Kayraalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykutalp Erüstün made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Seyhan Yelmen sent off a good shot on target. Kürşat Çavas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dündar Şenel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Karakecili SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Karakecili SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
