An unexpectedly hard shot by Duman Birsel in the 11th minute of play forced Selim SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Özaltın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Selim SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giray Öktürk to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bagcilar SK's Vehdi Tekalp tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Duman Birsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duman Birsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Hakkı Özaltın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duman Birsel in the 37th minute of play. Bagcilar SK's İbrahim Ethem Rafiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egemen Sırat in the 40th minute of play. Arcan Adalıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arcan Adalıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Selim SK booed when Bagcilar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Adalıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Hakkı Özaltın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duman Birsel in the 44th minute of the match. Duman Birsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mehmet Hakkı Özaltın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duman Birsel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Selim SK's Egemen Sırat got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burç Mutlusoy during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Selim SK booed when Bagcilar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burç Mutlusoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. İbrahim Ethem Rafiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egemen Sırat in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bagcilar SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Selim SK.
