Ahmet Refik Erşahan in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Sümer Uğurtay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Sezgin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Korgan JK's Habib Uygan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Haluk Sezgin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sümer Uğurtay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başar Taşcıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Korgan JK's Arslan Özdoğru got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdi Saygın Perk in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sümer Uğurtay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özer Kanat during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, Özer Kanat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arslan Özdoğru to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Sümer Uğurtay managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Patnos SK's Başar Taşcıoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Haluk Sezgin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sümer Uğurtay having to interfere. Asrın Sarper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Akil Yenisey. Patnos SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Başar Taşcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
