The supporters of Kars SK booed when Camlidere SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batı Nursal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferit Altunışık in the 19th minute of play forced Kars SK's goalkeeper Genco Candeğer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Camlidere SK's Yılmaz Vecdet got control of the ball when Abay Seyhun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Camlidere SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baykam Tanbay to maneuver through the defense. Abay Seyhun took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yılmaz Vecdet. Yılmaz Vecdet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Abay Seyhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kars SK's Genco Candeğer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuğ Timuroz in the 35th minute of play. Mustafa Nurtekin's late challenge caught a Camlidere SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Nurtekin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kars SK's Mustafa Nurtekin got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Ferit Altunışık came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Camlidere SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferit Altunışık couldn't finish the play. Genco Candeğer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferit Altunışık in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Camlidere SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batuğ Timuroz to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samet Muren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Abay Seyhun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yılmaz Vecdet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abay Seyhun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Vecdet having to interfere. Genco Candeğer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hafız Cankan. The supporters of Camlidere SK booed when Kars SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacettin Yekta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batuğ Timuroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Candeğer having to interfere. Batuğ Timuroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genco Candeğer came out and tried to block the shot, but Batuğ Timuroz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 78th minute. Genco Candeğer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuğ Timuroz in the 90th minute of play. Yılmaz Vecdet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samet Muren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Samet Muren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kars SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Samet Muren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yılmaz Vecdet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kars SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
