Aydin SK's Şenol Tanyolaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Aydin SK from getting a goal against them. Doğan Ülküsel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göktan Ozansu went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şenol Tanyolaç having to interfere. Aydin SK's Şenol Tanyolaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Aydin SK from getting a goal against them. Şenol Tanyolaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş in the 27th minute of the match. Göktan Ozansu's late challenge caught a Harran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göktan Ozansu helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Aydin SK got a freekick which was hit by Göktan Ozansu. Özden Osmanoğulları could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Şenol Tanyolaç made a huge save. The supporters of Harran booed when Aydin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid Talha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Harran's goal looked a bit too open when Erkut Bengialp came free, but Doğan Ülküsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Harran fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Harran's Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erkut Bengialp to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Özden Osmanoğulları cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Şenol Tanyolaç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Doğan Ülküsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkut Bengialp in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Aydin SK's Göktan Ozansu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doğan Ülküsel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Erkut Bengialp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doğan Ülküsel. The goal made the score 3-2. Hulki Orgun's late challenge caught a Harran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hulki Orgun helped the player get up and apologised. Hulki Orgun hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Harran's Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şenol Tanyolaç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Ferid Talha kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Göktan Ozansu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Giray Saik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şenol Tanyolaç. Aydin SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giray Saik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 81st minute, Doğukan Özdinç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Harran's Doğan Ülküsel got control of the ball when Göktan Ozansu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Erkut Bengialp fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Doğan Ülküsel, passed just outside the right post. In the 90th minute, Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şenol Tanyolaç was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göktan Ozansu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğan Ülküsel saved Harran from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Harran fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aydin SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
