Balikesir FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzcan Köken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tunç Balabey's late challenge caught a Harran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tunç Balabey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Balikesir FK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tunç Balabey hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Harran's Namık Kemal Sunguralp tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Balikesir FK's Nejat Alp Geçim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doğan Ülküsel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eralp Toktamış took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özden Osmanoğulları, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Özden Osmanoğulları managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harran's supporters rose to their feet, but Özden Osmanoğulları was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eralp Toktamış breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Harran getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eray Ömür hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nejat Alp Geçim got free with Doğan Ülküsel in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ali Nejat Irgatbaşı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doğan Ülküsel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Balikesir FK's Oğuzcan Köken dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oğuzcan Köken to make the kick off. Özden Osmanoğulları sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Eray Ömür was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balikesir FK the free kick. Eray Ömür kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Nejat Alp Geçim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Ülküsel having to interfere. Özden Osmanoğulları who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Eralp Toktamış when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eralp Toktamış tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eralp Toktamış. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş ran back to his position shaking his head. Balikesir FK's Eralp Toktamış played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özden Osmanoğulları in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Özden Osmanoğulları got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 75 played minutes Balikesir FK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nejat Irgatbaşı. Oğuzcan Köken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Ülküsel having to interfere. Eralp Toktamış stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ahmet Nasir Ökkeş hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Nejat Alp Geçim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Doğan Ülküsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Harran's Naim Vahapoğlu got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Oğuzcan Köken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doğan Ülküsel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Oğuzcan Köken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Oğuzcan Köken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harran's Doğan Ülküsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzcan Köken in the 97th minute of play. Özden Osmanoğulları received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Eralp Toktamış tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balikesir FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
