Hulki Helvacı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Oğuz Aktay in the 8th minute of the match. Binali Kirtekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Baha Şenal made a huge save. Hulki Helvacı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Oğuz Aktay's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Arif Oğuz Aktay struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hulki Helvacı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yusufeli. Baha Şenal made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Binali Kirtekin sent off a good shot on target. Baha Şenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Memduh Akbayrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Yusufeli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Barış Tanver to maneuver through the defense. Arif Oğuz Aktay took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hulki Helvacı. Hulki Helvacı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mustafa Barış Tanver hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Baha Şenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binali Kirtekin in the 43rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Baha Şenal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arif Oğuz Aktay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Memduh Akbayrak was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binali Kirtekin in the 58th minute of play forced Yusufeli's goalkeeper Baha Şenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Binali Kirtekin made a precise shot to the right of Baha Şenal. Yusufeli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Binali Kirtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Baha Şenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güclükonak's Binali Kirtekin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Yusufeli's Songurhan Serdar got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Binali Kirtekin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güclükonak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Arif Memduh Akbayrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baha Şenal was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. A collision led to Yusufeli getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arda Baybars Salahaddin hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Arif Oğuz Aktay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulki Helvacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusufeli's Baha Şenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Memduh Akbayrak in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Güclükonak fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yusufeli had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
