Kutlay Bozlak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Efe Derim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ege Yankı in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kutlay Bozlak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Efe Derim was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Ege Yankı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çağatay Acaralp in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Savaşer Kiray came out of the goal and Çağatay Acaralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Vural Betik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savaşer Kiray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savaşer Kiray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vural Betik, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Mehmet Efe Derim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Yankı in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vural Betik made a kick off. If Çağatay Acaralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vural Betik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savaşer Kiray having to interfere. Mehmet Efe Derim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Yankı in the 93rd minute of play. With his leg Mehmet Efe Derim managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Kadirli SK's Kutlay Bozlak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Kadirli SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
