The supporters of Ömerli booed when Esme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korkut Koçaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esme's goalkeeper Atilla Kağan Onsal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Öztürk Akbaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilla Kağan Onsal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The referee ignored Esme's protests and gave Ataol Üstündağ a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Esme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataol Üstündağ to maneuver through the defense. The Esme players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ömerli were winning 0-2.

Enver Balyemez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaser Tolunay having to interfere. Ömerli were furious when Mustafa Arif Kavaş was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Ömerli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esme:s goal. Enver Balyemez's late challenge caught a Ömerli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enver Balyemez helped the player get up and apologised. Enver Balyemez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Esme's Emre Paker got a free kick in the 69th minute. Enver Balyemez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Yaser Tolunay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esme. Timur Oğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Yaser Tolunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Ahmet Sedat Eryiğit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Öztürk Akbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Atilla Kağan Onsal made a huge save. Öztürk Akbaş struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Atilla Kağan Onsal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ömerli.
