Saip Ülgen charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saip Ülgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saip Ülgen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Halis Ilgınlı made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Keramettin Helvacı sent off a good shot on target. When Kütahya's Devlet Rafi in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bahcesehir's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 played minutes Kütahya got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Ali Demircan. Mustafa Birol Adıbelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Buğra Tuyuğ in the 38th minute of play. İlhami Nurettin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Birol Adıbelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Kütahya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hacı Ali Onursoy to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kütahya's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Adıbelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Kütahya getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hacı Ali Onursoy hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Kütahya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saip Ülgen to maneuver through the defense. Arif Buğra Tuyuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Adıbelli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bahcesehir's Mehmet Çağrı Erdoğan got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Bahcesehir got a freekick which was hit by İlhami Nurettin. Bahcesehir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Devlet Rafi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bahcesehir's Halis Ilgınlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keramettin Helvacı in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Varol Hirfet during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Varol Hirfet kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bahcesehir players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kütahya.
