Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enginalp Melih started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ersin Oğuzcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mengen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ersin Oğuzcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dündar Ulusu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enginalp Melih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balamir Aytuğ in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dündar Ulusu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ersin Oğuzcan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dündar Ulusu. 26 minutes into the match, Mengen's goalkeeper Hayri Durul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enginalp Melih. 35 minutes into the game, İlker Arpacı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mengen the free kick. İlker Arpacı kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Taci Belek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dündar Ulusu. Abana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Abana! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ersin Oğuzcan made a kick off. Ersin Oğuzcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dündar Ulusu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balamir Aytuğ got free with Dündar Ulusu in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Arcan Ustaoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abana's protests and gave Arcan Ustaoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Arcan Ustaoğlu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Haldun Baysoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hayri Durul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haldun Baysoy struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hayri Durul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abana. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mengen's goalkeeper Hayri Durul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ersin Oğuzcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dündar Ulusu having to interfere. Dündar Ulusu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ersin Oğuzcan's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. İbrahim Özinal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hayri Durul. Mengen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
