In the 11th minute, Emre Filiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emre Filiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinçer Sanal having to interfere. Dinçer Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emre Filiz in the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nusrettin Mümin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinçer Sanal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abayhan Mahir during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Palu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abayhan Mahir to maneuver through the defense. Emre Filiz's late challenge caught a Palu SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emre Filiz helped the player get up and apologised. Emre Filiz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Palu SK's Melih Eskici dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Eyüp's Yavuz Doğa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Eyüp from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Eyüp's goalkeeper Yavuz Doğa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sami Şahruh. With a little luck, Eyüp's Yavuz Doğa got control of the ball when Sami Şahruh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nusrettin Mümin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinçer Sanal having to interfere. Dinçer Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nusrettin Mümin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sami Şahruh came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Palu SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sami Şahruh couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Sezgin Atasagun charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sezgin Atasagun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 58 minutes, Melih Eskici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palu SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melih Eskici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
