The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kutlu Vechi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Bican Vezir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resul Atabey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yiğit Can Yıldız charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yiğit Can Yıldız the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Bakkalköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Can Yıldız to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes, Gökcebey SK's Nafiz Tekrim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bican Vezir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gökcebey SK reached it. Tarık Özkutsal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tolgahan Özkaya. Türkeş Kaygun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tarık Özkutsal made a huge save. Türkeş Kaygun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resul Atabey in the 41st minute of play forced Bakkalköy's goalkeeper Bican Vezir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarık Özkutsal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutlu Vechi in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Resul Atabey in the 51st minute of play forced Bakkalköy's goalkeeper Bican Vezir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bakkalköy's zone, Yavuz Bülent Tulum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bican Vezir came out of the goal and Yavuz Bülent Tulum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yavuz Bülent Tulum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bican Vezir having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resul Atabey got free with Bican Vezir in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Türkeş Kaygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarık Özkutsal having to interfere. Tarık Özkutsal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutlu Vechi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Resul Atabey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gökcebey SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Resul Atabey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bican Vezir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bican Vezir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Tulum, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Tarık Özkutsal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutlu Vechi in the 87th minute of the match. Resul Atabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bican Vezir having to interfere. When Resul Atabey came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gökcebey SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Resul Atabey couldn't finish the play. Bican Vezir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yavuz Bülent Tulum's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bakkalköy had won after a very even match.
