The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Alperen Boğatekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. Nizam Yaygır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Hakkı Devrim Birtan made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fetih Baytüzün to make the kick off. Kubilay Kürşat charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Güneri Adıgüzel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Bülent Hasret skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hakkı Devrim Birtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fetih Baytüzün in the 68th minute of the match. Ayvacik SK's Hakkı Devrim Birtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nizam Yaygır in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Güneri Adıgüzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayvacik SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneri Adıgüzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, Derik SK's Bülent Hasret got control of the ball when Güneri Adıgüzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kamer Dindar's late challenge caught a Derik SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamer Dindar helped the player get up and apologised. Kamer Dindar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Fetih Baytüzün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Güneri Adıgüzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ayvacik SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
