Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zülfü Boysel kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Duran Rehber fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 7th match minute, Sultanhamam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurtekin Erzan to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Yaşar Özbal charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Yaşar Özbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atakent's Mustafa Yaşar Özbal got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultanhamam's goalkeeper Necdet Özdilek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Berkem Tongal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atakent's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkem Tongal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necdet Özdilek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duran Rehber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zülfü Boysel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sultanhamam defense, Zülfü Boysel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Necdet Özdilek. The Sultanhamam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Necdet Özdilek should have stopped the shot. Duran Rehber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürsel Akçakoca having to interfere. After some careless play in the Atakent defense, Seyfi Sururi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürsel Akçakoca. The Atakent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürsel Akçakoca should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duran Rehber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berkem Tongal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Atakent's Berkem Tongal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Necdet Özdilek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. İlmi İdris kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gürsel Akçakoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfi Sururi in the 78th minute of the match. Berkem Tongal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Özdilek having to interfere. Atakent's Zülfü Boysel got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sultanhamam's zone, Hasan Can İlhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necdet Özdilek came out of the goal and Hasan Can İlhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sultanhamam's Necdet Özdilek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zülfü Boysel in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Ali Baran Kanber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
