An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdoğan Berksan in the 14th minute of play forced Sultanhamam's goalkeeper Necdet Özdilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarp Nurettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Necdet Özdilek made a huge save. Necdet Özdilek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdoğan Berksan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Erdoğan Berksan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Necdet Özdilek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarp Nurettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duran Rehber in the 60th minute of play forced Devrekhane JK's goalkeeper Batu Topel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necdet Özdilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdoğan Berksan in the 64th minute of the match. Nurtekin Erzan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Devrekhane JK's goalkeeper Batu Topel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyfi Sururi. When Seyfi Sururi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sultanhamam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyfi Sururi couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Seyfi Sururi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Batu Topel made a huge save. 85 minutes into the game, Sarp Nurettin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Necdet Özdilek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd match minute, Devrekhane JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Turabi to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Hazım Dilsuz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Devrekhane JK's Batu Topel didn't even have to move. Sultanhamam's Necdet Özdilek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdoğan Berksan in the 99th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sultanhamam players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Devrekhane JK.
