Demirhan Işıldar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Asım Orkan. Avanos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yavuz Bülent Harmancı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Ali Sarduç's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Yavuz Bülent Harmancı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Ali Sarduç in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Uğurcan Durdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erzin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avanos the free kick. Uğurcan Durdu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Avanos's Mehmet Ali Sarduç in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erzin's goalie prevented a goal. Yavuz Bülent Harmancı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saadettin Elçi in the 23rd minute of the match. Saadettin Elçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berat Uzbay struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ahmet Asım Orkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzin. Berat Uzbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute of the match Kılıçalp Egesel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Asım Orkan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

If Berat Uzbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Avanos fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Avanos's Saadettin Elçi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mehmet Ali Sarduç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yavuz Bülent Harmancı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saadettin Elçi scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Bülent Harmancı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yavuz Bülent Harmancı made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Saadettin Elçi sent off a good shot on target. When Berat Uzbay came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Erzin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berat Uzbay couldn't finish the play. During the 80th minute of the match Müfit Hattat completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Müfit Hattat a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 81st match minute, Avanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müfit Hattat to maneuver through the defense. If Berat Uzbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsa Keremşah's late challenge caught a Erzin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İsa Keremşah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, one of Avanos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Avanos. Ahmet Asım Orkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykan Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Korkut Eskicioğlu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yavuz Bülent Harmancı, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Erzin getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Uğurcan Durdu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Saadettin Elçi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Saadettin Elçi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuz Bülent Harmancı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Avanos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
