The Erzurumspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Çelebi Ruşen should have stopped the shot. When Songurhan Sağan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardanuc FK's protests and gave Songurhan Sağan a yellow card for diving instead. Songurhan Sağan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Erzurumspor's zone, Tacettin Unat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Çelebi Ruşen came out of the goal and Tacettin Unat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erzurumspor's Çelebi Ruşen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Devrim Ülkü in the 30th minute of play. Muhsin Okyays short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Uğur Başel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Uğur Başel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Numan Karahan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Muhsin Okyay struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Uğur Başel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzurumspor. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A wasted opportunity for Ardanuc FK. 70 minutes into the match, Ardanuc FK's Tacettin Unat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çelebi Ruşen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Çelebi Ruşen made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Tacettin Unat sent off a good shot on target. In the 77thth minute of the game Muhsin Okyay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ardanuc FK's Uğur Başel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aykutalp Kongar came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Erzurumspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aykutalp Kongar couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Kongar in the 83rd minute of play forced Ardanuc FK's goalkeeper Uğur Başel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uğur Başel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykutalp Kongar in the 84th minute of play. When Ardanuc FK's Hakkı Devrim Ülkü in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Uğur Başel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ardanuc FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Erzurumspor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
