In the 3rd minute of the match Arif Memduh Dertsiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göktürk Uluşahin skillfully saved the ball. Arif Ozan Boysel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Kayacan Yalgın when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Göktürk Uluşahin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Ziya Keskinel in the 17th minute of the match. Hasan Can Dilsafa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Halit Ziya Keskinel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göktürk Uluşahin was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd match minute, Karabük SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mevlüt Uğuş to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Karabük SK defense, Hasan Can Dilsafa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göktürk Uluşahin. The Karabük SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göktürk Uluşahin should have stopped the shot. Abdi Mehmet Öztekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Kulu JK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Gökalp Derelioğlu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Karabük SK's Akay Onursev got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 2-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Arif Ozan Boysel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, one of Kulu JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Şenel Ramiz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gökalp Derelioğlu in the 68th minute of play forced Karabük SK's goalkeeper Göktürk Uluşahin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Kulu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Ozan Boysel came free, but Kayacan Yalgın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Karabük SK's zone, Ahmet Gökalp Derelioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktürk Uluşahin came out of the goal and Ahmet Gökalp Derelioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Ahmet Gökalp Derelioğlu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Göktürk Uluşahin, passed just outside the right post. 78 minutes into the game, Halit Ziya Keskinel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Göktürk Uluşahin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kayacan Yalgın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Öztekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Karabük SK's İsmail Mert got a free kick in the 88th minute.
