Maden's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Özcan Mehdi charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özcan Mehdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saffet Özbala made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ali Cengiz Helvacı sent off a good shot on target. Lemi Biçim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altuğ Gayret in the 37th minute of the match. Korhan Savni was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kutlay Olguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lemi Biçim having to interfere. The Pasinler FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maden's performance. The match ended with a win for Maden.
