Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mirkelam Özak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkan Baldemir in the 8th minute. After 10 minutes, Abdi Saygın Sarp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevsehir and the Bornova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Nevsehir got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Saygın Sarp. 14 minutes into the game, Arif Çelebi Salman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevsehir the free kick. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bornova! The goalkeeper, Mirkelam Özak, was totally fooled by Nevsehir's Musa Akdemirci, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 20 minutes into the match, Bornova's goalkeeper Mirkelam Özak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkan Baldemir. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kadir Velican in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirkelam Özak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Turan Akdağ hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Yıldıray Olgunsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bornova's Yıldıray Olgunsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Hakkı Onur Tongar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevsehir the free kick. Hakkı Onur Tongar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Berkan Baldemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rasim Dilşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahattin Erüstün in the 42nd minute of play. Bornova's Mirkelam Özak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadir Velican in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yıldıray Olgunsoy was the one to do the kick off. Bornova's Mirkelam Özak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkan Baldemir in the 54th minute of play. Kadir Velican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mirkelam Özak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasim Dilşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldıray Olgunsoy in the 58th minute of play. Yıldıray Olgunsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Berkan Baldemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Berkan Baldemir made a precise shot to the right of Mirkelam Özak. Bornova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Yıldıray Olgunsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rasim Dilşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldıray Olgunsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Yıldıray Olgunsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasim Dilşah having to interfere.
