After 6 minutes of play, Giresun JK's Mustafa Emre Seyidhan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erdem Tayman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giresun JK's Cüneyd Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaser Kurtuluş in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Giresun JK booed when Atasanayi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şimşek Gündoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaser Kurtuluş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yaser Kurtuluş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atasanayi FK's zone, Alaaddin İltemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erdem Tayman came out of the goal and Alaaddin İltemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cüneyd Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaser Kurtuluş in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuratay Kudretullah was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Nuratay Kudretullah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erdem Tayman was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 57 minutes in the game, Yaser Kurtuluş fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cüneyd Oğuztan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Alaaddin İltemir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giresun JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alaaddin İltemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdem Tayman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 played minutes Atasanayi FK got a freekick which was hit by Arcan Ülker. Nuratay Kudretullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Erdem Tayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Andaç Ülken fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cüneyd Oğuztan, passed just outside the right post. Cüneyd Oğuztan was a little too slow when Yaser Kurtuluş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-2. The supporters of Giresun JK booed when Atasanayi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şimşek Gündoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Alaaddin İltemir sped through Atasanayi FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erdem Tayman.
