Keban's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catalpinar the free kick. A collision led to Keban getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Şentürk Bürge hit a great ball. Bilgin Akdemirci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilgin Akdemirci in the 41st minute of play forced Catalpinar's goalkeeper Arif Buğra Orun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bilgin Akdemirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Arif Buğra Orun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Dalmaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mustafa Dalmaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catalpinar's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Dalmaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Rıfat Çol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Catalpinar booed when Keban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Emre Kutlug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulvi Ünsevin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Rıfat Çol having to interfere. Keban's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
