Atilla Bilgehan came out of the goal and Gökmen Osmanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencay Öktuğ in the 13th minute of play forced Nazilli's goalkeeper Tunç Engintalay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Esat Özok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilla Bilgehan was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 21 played minutes Esat Özok rounded Sadikköy SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Nazilli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökmen Osmanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Nazilli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esat Özok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Arkın Tunçbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tunç Engintalay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Öktuğ in the 49th minute of play.

Vefa İnanöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Esat Özok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilla Bilgehan was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Hasret Kayıhan, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Sadikköy SK's İbrahim Efe Oker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tunç Engintalay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sadikköy SK's Atilla Bilgehan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Özok in the 90th minute of play. Gencay Öktuğ might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tunç Engintalay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gencay Öktuğ ran back to his position shaking his head. Tunç Engintalay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vefa İnanöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nazilli's Tunç Engintalay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Nazilli from getting a goal against them. After 98 played minutes Nazilli got a freekick which was hit by Naim Saykut. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nazilli fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sadikköy SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
